Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC)
The Iris Network is seeking new members for its Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC) that currently meets via Zoom (video) bimonthly (every other month on the second Wed.), but may, in the future, also meet in person on The Iris Network Portland campus. We are looking for people who are blind or visually impaired, preferably ages 18-65 to augment our current membership made up mainly of older adults to serve on the committee.
The purpose of the CAC is to advise the IRIS’s work to continuously improve services for people who are blind or visually impaired in Maine. The opportunities for independence and employment are increasing and changing. Therefore, your insight and input are needed.
