Here at the AOEC we are gearing up for a fun season ahead with programs happening all over the state as well as new partnership programs at our AOEC Brunswick Campus! Horizons Climbing
Escape those cold winter days with our Horizons Climbing Program! This program is open to all abilities and ages!
EVO ROCK + FITNESS, PORTLAND
* December 8th from 3:30 – 5:30pm
* December 15th from 3:30 – 5:30pm
* January 12th from 3:30 – 5:30pm
* January 26th from 3:30 – 5:30pm
MAINE BOUND ADVENTURE CENTER, ORONO
We just wrapped up the semester of the climbing program but we will be back in February 2022! We will continue to run the program every other Monday. Sessions run from 3:00 – 4:30pm and 4:30pm – 6:00pm. *Please note, masks are required at all indoor rock climbing programs.
Horizons Ski Program
Get ready for some fun on the slopes this winter! Check out our Horizons Ski Program, operating at three mountains in Maine!
SUGARLOAF MOUNTAIN, CARRABASSETT VALLEY
This program is geared towards individuals with autism and/or varying developmental abilities. It is inclusive with Sugarloaf Ski School! Our program runs on Saturdays and Sundays. Weekday availability upon request! *Lodging is also available at this location at the AOEC Carrabassett Valley! Click here to book your stay!
NEW HERMON MOUNTAIN, HERMON (Near Bangor)
This program is open to all abilities and ages! We offer this program every Tuesday night. Session A is from 4pm – 6pm and Session B is from 5pm – 7pm.
SADDLEBACK MOUNTAIN, RANGELEY
This program is geared towards individuals with autism and/or varying developmental abilities. It is inclusive with Saddleback Ski School! Lessons are available upon request. *Please note, masks are required while indoors at all programs.

HORIZONS MUSIC: Music Exploration with Maine Music & Health
Fridays at 10:30am
Join us for an interactive music exploration with Kate Beever of Maine Music + Health. We will play, sing, and collaborate in a fun and inclusive program open to all ages and abilities.
KEEP IT MOVING: Inclusive Movement Class with Elmhurst, Inc.
Mondays at 9am and 1pm
Join us and our friends from Elmhurst for an inclusive guided movement class. These one-hour sessions are a low-key way to Keep It Moving through the winter months. Sessions are led by Elmhurst staff.
