Mitsy Kit is an innovative craft and sewing company with products designed to be used by people who are blind or visually impaired. They have some great craft ideas for the holidays! In past years, they have come to visit and train our residents of Iris Park Apartments. The company was named after Mitsy, a former sewer working at the Maine Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired (now The Iris Network) when sheltered workshops were prevalent in the 20th century.
